  • SOPA office closing for the holidays

    After an amazing 2025 for Sydney Olympic Park, the SOPA office will close at 4:30pm on Wednesday 24 December and reopen at 8:30am on Monday 12 January.

    We look forward to kicking off another fantastic year of events, recreation, and community in 2026.

  • Noise notification: Friday 12 & Saturday 13 December

    Please be advised the Lady Gaga: The MAYHEM Ball will be held  at Accor Stadium on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 December from 7.30pm to 11pm.

    Sydney Showground will host Sara Landry - ETERNALISM on Friday 12 December from 6pm to midnight, and EPIK on Saturday 13 December from 4pm to midnight.

    There may also be intermittent noise on Friday 12 December and Saturday 13 December due to sound testing and rehearsals for these events.

  • Have your say - Homebush Bay Drive and Australia Avenue intersection upgrade

    The community is invited to provide feedback on the Transport for NSW project’s concept design and Review of Environmental Factors by Sunday 18 January, 11:59pm.

    The proposed upgrade will improve safety, travel times and connectivity to Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush and surrounds for all road users. More information.

  • Hill Road upgrade out-of-hours work

    As part of the Hill Road upgrade Transport for NSW will be conducting out-of-hours work on Saturday 13 December between 8am and 5pm. Work will involve the use of a crane and excavating equipment, as well as concrete hammering. This work will be carried out during the day to minimise noise impacts to the community.

  • New raised pedestrian crossing

    School Infrastructure will start early works for the new raised pedestrian crossing (wombat crossing) on Ferry Wharf Circuit from Monday 22 December to Wednesday 24 December 2025. Construction will start on Monday 5 January 2026 and will be completed by early February 2026, weather permitting.

    Work hours are from 7 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday and from 7 am to 1 pm on Saturdays.

    Ferry Wharf Circuit will remain open, with one lane closed at the worksite. Access to the driveway and loading dock will be maintained. For more information visit edu.nsw.link/WPPS.
