The NSW Hall of Champions is a sport museum and hall of fame that honours the outstanding accomplishments of athletes who have excelled at the highest level in their chosen disciplines.
The Hall of Fame includes photographs and biographies celebrating the achievements of over 400 athletes across 59 different sports. Temporary exhibitions showcasing the museum’s significant collection help bring our sporting heritage to life.
Since 1979, an annual induction of athletes into the NSW Hall of Champions has contributed to the museum’s growing collection. The Collection is included on the NSW State Heritage Inventory, featuring over 3,000 artefacts from sporting greats such as Betty Cuthbert AC MBE, Sir Donald Bradman AC, Dawn Fraser AC MBE and Shane Gould AM MBE. Nationally significant artefacts and memorabilia from Olympic and Commonwealth Games are also included in the Collection.
